All aboard for a magical, sensory-friendly holiday adventure! 🚂✨

Join us for Cognition’s Polar Express Experience , where the magic of the beloved holiday story comes to life with festive activities, hands-on fun, and special holiday memories for the whole family.

Our 2:00–3:30 PM session is sensory-friendly , featuring a calmer environment with reduced stimulation and sensory-friendly accommodations throughout the experience. All families are welcome to attend this session.

Your Polar Express Experience includes:

• 🚂 Step inside our Polar Express train! Children will find a seat inside our special train, built right here in Cognition’s Makerspace, and enjoy a reading of The Polar Express . Story times will be assigned at check-in to help with crowd flow.

• 🎅 Visit Santa & Mrs. Claus with the opportunity for family photos

• ☕ Enjoy warm cocoa and sweet treats

• 🎨 Create a festive ornament to take home

• 🔔 Explore Jingle Bell Science and other hands-on holiday STEAM fun, with sensory-friendly options

• 🧸 Enjoy playtime throughout the museum

• 🔔 Each participating child will receive their own special bell

• 📕 Each family will take home a copy of The Polar Express

Sensory-Friendly Session

2:00–3:30 PM

Tickets:

$30 per child | Adults included $25 per child for Cognition members | Sign in to your Cognition account and your member discount will be applied automatically at checkout. $15 for each additional sibling in the same household

Children 12 months and under are free only when attending with a paid child ticket and will not receive event materials. If you would like your infant to participate in activities, make a craft, receive a bell, or receive other event materials, a paid child ticket is required regardless of age.

Member pricing is limited to the four individuals covered by your Cognition Family Membership. Additional guests must purchase regular admission tickets.
